Rabeel graduated from MIT and gained his professional experience in London, UK. He initially worked in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and followed it up with Private Equity experience at GIC. In late 2017, Rabeel moved back to Pakistan to start Sarmayacar.

Bernhard completed his Ph.D. in economics and business from University of Vienna before joining Morgan Stanley where he met Rabeel. He later led J.P. Morgan’s Austrian business and acted as the cofounder-business angel of fifteen early stage companies in Europe. He started investing in Pakistani startups in 2016 and is now one of the two managing partners of the Sarmayacar ventures' fund.

Salman studied at McGill University and gained his professional experience at PwC where he obtained his CPA, CA designation and went to further his finance experience with roles at Royal Bank of Canada and National Bank of Canada. In January 2019, Salman relocated back to Pakistan to join Sarmayacar in its investment functions.

Jehanzeb is a Fulbright scholar and completed his Masters from Drexel University. He gained professional experience working in different roles within the banking industry of Pakistan and prior to that worked at Faisal Bank and Silkbank. Jehanzeb assists with protofolio monitoring efforts in Sarmayacar.

Yumna has assisted startups in the Pakistan ecosystem in varied roles at Innovation District 92 and Plan9, two of the largest incubators in the country. Yumna manages all administrative matters in Sarmayacar.
