Dot & Line (D&L) is an after-school education platform that helps educated stay-at-home women set up technology enabled tuition centres online for school-going children.
The company has developed a curriculum in-house which is provided to teacher-partners together with training, student materials and centralised parent acquisition in exchange for commission from student fees. Founded by two female graduates of the London School of Economics, Maheen Adamjee and Lina Ahmed, D&L’s business works exclusively with female teachers and is seeking to bring educated women who cannot work outside of their homes due to cultural barriers into the workforce.
