Bykea is Pakistan’s largest network of motorbikes that can provide on-demand taxi, logistics and payments services to over 20 million consumers and businesses in Pakistan’s three largest cities (Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad).
Bykea services a large, underserved market of affordable rides and deliveries by leveraging existing but underutilized assets: motorbikes and cell phones. Each driver partner is scored to graduate from basic taxi services to SME deliveries to money transfer services. Bykea’s platform is playing a key role in increasing the financial earnings of its partners (drivers) and creating franchisee micro entrepreneurs.
The company was founded by Muneeb Maayr, former CEO of Daraz (which was acquired by Ali Baba for ~$150 million) and SNL Financial Pakistan (which was acquired by S&P Global).
